CFAI協會2018年與2017年，比對CFA L1、L2 及L3三個級別的考綱(LOS)，各有不同程度的改變。以下為CFA L1、L2 及L3每一級的差異：
2018年與2017年CFA L1 考綱(LOS)差異分析如下:
2018年CFA L1各科目的考試比重繼續沿用17年的比重:
1.數量方法（Quantitative Methods）與17年相比18年考綱變化不大，需要注意在Study Session 3，Reading 10:Common Probability Distributions部分，刪除了“tracking error”的理解及計算。
2.公司財管（Corporate Finance）刪掉了Study Session 11裡面的Reading 38:Dividends and Share Repurchases:Basics。
3.投資組合（Portfolio Management and Wealth Planning）在Reading 42裡新增考綱(LOS) “calculate and interpret the Sharpe ratio,Treynor ratio,M2,and Jensen’s alpha.”。
4.股票投資（Equity Investments）在Reading 49:Equity Valuation:Concepts and Basic Tools裡新增考綱(LOS)”describe regular cash dividends,extra dividends,stock dividends,stock splits,reverse stock splits,and share repurchases”和“describe dividend payment chronology”。
5.固定收益投資（Fixed Income）Reading 51:Fixed-Income Markets:Issuance,Trading,and Funding裡 新增考綱(LOS)”describe structured financial instruments”。
6.衍生工具（Derivatives）刪除Study Session 17裡面的Reading 59:Risk Management Applications of Option Strategies。
另外幾科：道德與專業準則（Ethical and Professional Standards）、經濟學（Economics）、財務報表分析（Financial Reporting and Analysis）、另類投資（Alternative Investments）2018考綱內容與17年相比基本沒有變化。
